Nice old "children's carousel tent" ... Hope it lasts a long time. Nice owner, always friendly and communicative. Interesting, varied, non-standard beer for beer lovers: naturally cloudy. Great new terrace with a stage. Suitable for concerts. Great creative couple. We come to this beautiful, rare, bizarre place very regularly. It's a shame that all restaurants are affected again under the new Corona conditions. Buses and trains are packed ... Implemented hygiene concepts, on the other hand, are closed by government decision in the catering industry. Initiative and commitment are nipped in the bud. A pity... We will be back.

Very strange atmosphere. On the one hand a cool idea with the carousel, on the other hand these strange flags everywhere. Doesn't fit at all. The whole vibe there was also strange, in any case we felt very uncomfortable. Food was just ok, not particularly aesthetically presented. Service took an awfully long time.

Never again! Terrible Service! We had to wait for our 2 cutlets for 50 minutes. Beer glasses also remained empty for a long time. Location is fine, beer and wine too.

A very contemplative little café right on the embankment with a view of the Rhine. Very quaint and largely cozy, it invites you to linger for a while before exploring the old town. It is recommended in all cases, due to the unusual furnishings, with seating in an old carousel, but on normal benches. The menu is manageable, but the dishes were fresh and tasty. Anyone who fancies a fresh, home-brewed beer away from the wine towns will not be disappointed.

Restaurant with simple, small dishes. Good view of the Rhine. Bratwurst was not freshly made in my opinion. Federweiser was good.

Food was ok, nothing special and a little carelessly prepared. no proper behavior with data protection (addresses of two predecessors) were on the table, I haven't entered ours!

We love coming here. Great food, the new sun terrace turned out great. The nice landlady always has a few minutes to chat and not even talk about the home-brewed beer. Delicious 👍

Unfortunately, completely decoration-free dinner plates, lovelessly served for people without any expectations of taste and ambience. But then prices that could actually be expected to be cooked and served with more love and passion. Staff tries hard, nothing more.

Quirky place with local beer and friendly staff.

We loved this place. How can you beat sitting in an old carousel, drinking good beer with a view of the Rhine River? We were in Bacharach for five nights, and we went everyday to sit and have a beer. The owner, Annette, serves, cooks and manages everything...all with a big smile. One evening we had a hankering for German sausage, but as we strolled the streets, we couldn't find what we were looking for. Back we went to the Brauhaus and had some tasty weisswurst with a pretzel. Just what we needed! If you're in Bacharach, definitely stop in and enjoy the views, beer and food.

Great idea with the carousel. Location is good. You can sit outside nicely. Portions are very large and taste good. There is nothing to complain about when it comes to the price-performance ratio. The service was nice and everything was served quickly. The home-brewed Pils tastes good. The whole terrace could just be looked after a little more. 4 stars!

The food here is great and the staff was very friendly to us non-German speakers. Everything is modestly priced, including the beer they make themselves.

We just wanted to eat something small and then found a brewery in the Weinhochburg. And the beer is just delicious. A great location, very quaint with theater. An absolute must! when you're in Bacharach. Thanks for letting me find that.

Very off kilter decorations, but don't let that scare you away. Delicious soups and fresh salads available with a simple menu. The beer is great and the hostess friendly. If you like beer I highly recommend stopping in.

I don't know why the other review was so low. My experience was similar to the ones on Trip Advisor. The food was great, the beer was great, and the host was extremely friendly. The service was slow but considering one person cooked and served every table, I thought the service was amazing. The Jagerschnitzel and the Flammkuchen were very good and the house brewed beer was the best we had in Germany. It is a quirky atmosphere with the circus tent covered outdoor seating but the view of the river is nice. I honestly enjoyed the randomness of the decor and it's a great place for kids. Another indication of the quality is how many local Germans were in the place. The German man next to me made a point of telling me this was the best food and beer in the region, reasonably priced too.
